I've never done a blog or had any desire to create one. I have been to the english lab twice now and the workers here are helpful if needed. A cute asian chick thought me how to setup my MLA format for my descriptive essay. And a week ago, a hispanic dude, proof read my rough draft. He said," it flowed well and was fun to read." I asked him if he was screwing with me. But he was serious, he actually liked my writing. It was a good feeling to know I can still write after a 7 year layoff from school.
My descriptive essay is about cheap booze. Am I labeling myself or what? I'm having trouble writing 600 words minimum on this topic. I'm close, but have hit a writers block. I don't want to write any crap just to take up space because it'll ruin my essay. I've still got some time to brainstorm and take recommendations from my peer reviews and tutoring.
Wish me luck getting over this hurdle.
